Students and lecturers of Armenian State Pedagogical University (ASPU), Yerevan State University (YSU), Russian-Armenian (Slavonic) University (RAU) and Yerevan Brusov State University of Languages and Social Sciences recently participated in the 10th interuniversity scientific-practical conference initiated by the ASPU Chair of Foreign Literature.
The conference focused on issues related to world literature, literary links and resources, word-for-words translation, as well as comparative cultural studies.
The topics sparked interest among the participants, who asked questions and shared their opinions.
The conference materials are included in the collection of scientific articles which is published by the Board of the Chair of Foreign Literature.
The Chair has been organizing conferences since 2007, with materials being published in different scientific journals. In their articles, the authors focus on the works of classics of world literature, cultural ties between Armenia and Russia, as well as Russia and other countries.
The aim of the collections is to present Armenian and Russian literature as part of studies on broader thinking [touched upon in the world literature] well as on particular issues.
They are intended for students, postgraduate students, teacher philologists, as well as a wide array of readers.
