Within the framework of the TEMPUS project ESPAQ (Enhancing Students Participation in Quality Assurance in Armenian Higher Education), a training session entitled “Enhancing Students Participation in Quality Assurance in Higher Education Institutions” was held at the University of Macerata, Italy, from 16 to 21 October.
First-year MA students of the ASPU Faculty of Foreign Languages - Alina Poghosyan, Geghanush Baghdasaryan and Hripsime Martinyan (the latter majors in education management) participated in the event.
The training session was conducted by the teaching staff members of the Italian university. Italian students were attached to the Armenian group who contributed to the exchange of experience.
In addition to lectures, the students also attended events covering the activity of Erasmus+, series of lectures at the University of Macerata and got acquainted with the structure of the Italian university.
“The training session organized in Italy allowed us to get a closer look at the European experience in quality assurance and get familiarized with the Italian culture,” Hripsime Martinyan said to old.aspu.am.
The students who attended the training in Italy will conduct similar training at the ASPU in the near future.
