KHACHATUR ABOVYAN ARMENIAN STATE PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITY

A children's exhibition entitled “The Past through the Lens of the Future” opened at the Faculty of Art Education on December 15.

The exhibition was organized by students of the same Faculty Varduhi Grigryan and Tatev Harutyunyan (supervisor: Mane Mkrtchyan, a lecturer at the Chair of History and Theory of Art and Cultural Studies) within the framework of the "Organization of Cultural Events" course.

The exhibition features the artworks by students of the House of Culture of Shahumyan village (Ararat province).

“The miniature is one of the most important indicators of Armenian identity, and every Armenian must preserve his identity in the first place to be able to continue his existence. The exhibition is another experiment on the way to transfer and preserve that identity," Tatev Harutyunyan said in her opening remarks.

The exhibition will run until December 20.
