KHACHATUR ABOVYAN ARMENIAN STATE PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITY

The ceremony of awarding the winners of the "The Best Teacher of Russian Language and Literature in Armenia - 2023" competition was held at Armenian State Pedagogical University (ASPU) earlier this week.

Within the framework of cooperation between ASPU and Stavropol State Pedagogical Institute (SSPI), the participants were congratulated and handed over certificates by ASPU Vice-Rector for Education and Science Mariam Ispiryan and Professor at SSPI Fokin Aleksandr.

The eight participants who had entered the final stage of the competition had the opportunity to present their knowledge and experience also in practice. A master class was held, as a result of which Gayane Hakobyan and Sona Mkrtchyan took 3rd and 2nd places, respectively. Evelina Baytyan, Associate Professor of the Chair of Russian Language and its Teaching Methods at ASPU, came 1st in the competition.

Let us add that on the same day certificates were given to the participants of the “Intensification of Teaching Russian as a Foreign Language: Modern Methods, Verbal Practice, Pedagogical Mastery” training course.
