Natalia Chulio is visiting the University within the scope of cooperation and lecturers exchange programmes between both Universities.

“You have wonderful and willing students, who are attentively listening to the delivered material. On the first day of the lecture, they had the role of only listeners, on the following days the linguistic obstacle vanished and we started better understanding each other due to which the students got actively involved in the lesson.”

The Associate Professor of the Maxim Tank Belarusian State Pedagogical University confesses that on those days she had also had new achievements. Armenia, opposite to Belarus had joined the Bologna system long ago; besides, Armenia had more experience in the sphere of inclusive education.

“All students of the World are similar; innovation and interest towards the subject is important for them. When I just came here, I didn’t know what mattered for them. While today, I can surely state that your students are not lacking training in neuropedagogy at all.”

Furthermore, Natalia Churilo mentioned in her interview to the old.aspu.am that one of the significant achievements of the Pedagogical University was that there were a number of classes conducted in English language there. She noticed the following, “You are much more ahead; we will try to even up”.

In her turn the Dean of the Faculty of Special Education Armine Avagyan emphasized the importance of organizing such trainings at the ASPU, and mentioned that the process gave the opportunity to gain new knowledge, form new approaches and conduct discussions allowing the lecturer to participate in the process, too.

Moreover, the Dean of the Faculty added that the two courses out of the academic curriculum had been selected through a discussion with the specialist.

In future the lectures will bear a more practical nature and will also take place in one of development centres, after which the students will take two interim exams with Natalia Churilova.
