Aida Topuzyan: Results are encouraging

The two-day international conference entitled “Measurement, Assessment, and Evaluation of Education Quality” wrapped up at Armenian State Pedagogical University on Tuesday.

Today, the conference continued with master class presentations, reports and roundtable discussions during which the participants continued to discuss issues related to measurement and assessment of education quality and offered solutions on a local and international level.

One of the organizers of the conference, Head of the Department of Professional Education and Applied Pedagogy, Professor Aida Topuzyan is pleased with the results of the conference. “Discussions and analyses made us think about the necessity of developing a special course for measuring and assessing the quality of education of Master’s degree students which will include the solutions offered during the conference,” she said.

“The conference was a platform where people expressed their views and ideas, shared local and international experience and raised issues that gave rise to serious contemplations,” the Professor said expressing hope that the participants would be able to apply the knowledge and skills they gained at the conference in modern educational processes. “I do not want us to stop the work. Let us continue to look for best ways of solving the issues raised here and finding the best solutions to them,” Aida Topuzyan said.

Armenian State Pedagogical University hosted a two-day international conference entitled “Measurement, Assessment, and Evaluation of Education Quality” which brought together education experts, professors, participants from Armenia and Artsakh and partner countries.
