KHACHATUR ABOVYAN ARMENIAN STATE PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITY

A few days ago, during the second trip of His Holiness Cyril, Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia to Saint Petersburg the leader of the Russian Orthodox Church served a mess at the Holy Trinity Cathedral at Saint Alexander Nevsky Monastery.

Before the start of the solemn dinner the philanthropist Hrachya Poghosyan presented His Holiness Cyril, Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia with a trilingual album called “Impressionism: the Painting Armenians” by the Rector of the Armenian State Pedagogical University after Khachatur Abovyan, Doctor of History Rouben Mirzakhanyan. The album was published by the financial support of the philanthropist.

In his turn, His Holiness Cyril, Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia expressed acknowledgements and mentioned that he was an amateur of fine art.
