Anzhel Kyurkchyan, Associate Professor and Candidate of Science in Philology, a long-term employee of the Pedagogical University, passed away today.
The Kyurkchyans immigrated to Armenia from Aleppo in 1946. Young and aspiring Angel moved to Armenia to study in her homeland. She passed her path of life leaving her unique and different imprint on her way. She lived an honest and modest life serving her people and their cause until her last breath.
For many years, she lectured at the Chair of Armenian Language and Elementary Education Methods and co-authored numerous textbooks in her homeland and Diaspora. For many generations, children will learn Armenian letters with the ABC Textbook written by her.
Anzhel Kyurkchyan always served as an example for students and others with her noblest human image.
