Tigran Petrosyants considered creation of an electronic database as a significant achievement, noting that during distance learning it replaced the full-time version. Today, the electronic database contains more than 20,000 e-books in 120 speciality envelopes.

The director of the library says the structure he heads also lays emphasis on exhibition of new books. Almost every ten days they are presented in small and large-scale book presentations.

"During the last 50 years, the library resources have not been counted. The process started in 2020. To date, only one-fifth of the books - about 90 000 units of books in Armenian, Russian and foreign languages - has been entered into the system. "Only after the completion of the process will the exact amount of the library book stock be known," said Tigran Petrosyants. In order to improve the service of the library, the director proposed to create a database of e-books for the reading halls, ensure inter-university communication between the reading rooms of the library, to provide the library with two copies of the books guaranteed for publication by the university Academic Board.

"The Student Council ensures student autonomy and student self-government, expresses students’ voice and opinions and the interests and rights of those who take postgraduate courses ASPU.
