KHACHATUR ABOVYAN ARMENIAN STATE PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITY

Armenian State Pedagogical University and Artists' Union of Armenia signed a memorandum of cooperation on June 7. The document was signed by Dean of the Faculty of Art Education Ara Hakobyan and President of Artists' Union of Armenia Suren Safaryan.

Under the document, the parties will cooperate in the educational, scientific, cultural and other spheres. Also, exhibitions of works by members of the Union, lecturers and students of ASPU will be organized.

In addition, trainings, seminars and master classes will be held to improve the skills [of the staff] and provide a scientific and pedagogical basis for professional activity.

"There is a close cooperation between the two structures. I am sure that the memorandum will contribute to the expansion of educational, cultural and scientific cooperation and will further strengthen the ties," Dean of the Faculty of Art Education Ara Hakobyan said in a conversation with old.aspu.am, emphasizing the importance of the document.

The latter say new memorandums will be signed in the near future which will expand the scope of cooperation.
