With deepest sorrow, we would like to inform that Associate Professor of the Chair of Russian Language and its Teaching Methods at the Armenian State Pedagogical University Armen Agulyan has passed away.
Armen Agulyan educated several generations of future pedagogues and armed them with professional knowledge for many years. He enjoyed the love and respect of the professors and students and would unwaveringly dedicate his perennial knowledge and experience to the young generation.
According to his colleagues, Armen Agulyan was not only a professional, but also a wonderful person and colleague. He served as a brilliant example of unwavering dedication to the chosen profession and his job and stayed true to his ideals and convictions. “Armen Agulyan stood out with his love for life, optimism and professionalism. He stayed true to the profession that he had chosen,” his colleagues say.
The death of Armen Agulyan is a great loss for the University and those who knew him. In 2022, he was awarded the “Pedagogical University” Medal of the ASPU for his longstanding activities.
The lecturers and professors of the Armenian State Pedagogical University express their condolences to their colleague’s family on the death of Armen Agulyan.
His memory will remain alive in the hearts of the students and colleagues, as well as in the hearts of those who knew him.
The funeral service will be held at “Adana” Funeral Home in Yerevan (Address: 17/6 Bagrevand Street) on October 29 (17:00-20:00).
