KHACHATUR ABOVYAN ARMENIAN STATE PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITY

A few days ago, the ASPU University – Employer Cooperation Centre, jointly with the University Faculties, participated in Career and Entrepreneurship expo fair.

The event aimed at supporting young people to get familiarized with the current demands in the labour market, existing vacancies, professional internships, and to develop their professional skills and abilities.

Likewise, the current initiative was meant to increase awareness of pupils and their parents about the list of specializations and learning prospects provided on the higher education level.

Within the scope of the event, the ASPU students participated in the master class sessions, panel discussions, seminars organized at the expo and targeted on development of skills and capacities thereof, as well as registered for upcoming vacancy interviews.
What is more, the ASPU University –Employer Cooperation Center had the chance to expand its cooperation scope, involving new employers and offering about thirty vacancies to its graduates.

And last but not least, the University Faculties presented publicity - videos to introduce the pupils and their parents with programmes offered at the Pedagogical University, thus, trying to help the pupils on choosing their profession.
