KHACHATUR ABOVYAN ARMENIAN STATE PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITY

Within the scope of the World Youth Day and the International Students Day, by the initiative of the ASPU Students Council and the Armenian Youth Fund, the annual “Best Student” awards took place at the Armenian State Pedagogical University.

Among those present at the awards were the Coordinator of the Board of Trustees of the AYF, the NA Deputy Karen Avagyan, the Rector of the University Rouben Mirzakhanyan, the Vice Rectors, the teaching staff, students and guests.

“Every year I feel great pride when visiting the Pedagogical University by seeing the huge work fulfilled by the ASPU management and the students. The management of the University and the teaching staff do everything for the students to gain knowledge to the maximum possible extent, thus making their learning process competitive, and keeping up the prestige of the University. Karen Avagyan observed that in the years of governance of the current Rector of the Pedagogical University the “Best Student” awards received a new breath and became one of the best events due to its exclusiveness in higher education system.

During the festive matinee the best students from ten faculties of the University received presents.

By continuing the tradition, the name of the “Best Student 2016”of the Pedagogical University was announced by the previous year’s Best Student Grisha Korkotyan. The third year student of the Faculty of History and Law Arman Tadevosyan who expressed his acknowledgements to the native University for the interesting and active daily life of students and to the parents for pointing at the correct life path to the students.

“The title of the Best is obliging; I am sure that it will help to self-establish both as a person and as a professional.
We would also like to mention that the Pedagogical University’s Best students of different years spent their summer holidays in various countries, such as the Great Britain, Italy, Spain, England, Egypt, and the USA. Similarly, the Best student of this year will visit Greece.

The award continued with a festive concert performed by Forsh, Sona Shahgeldyan, Silva Hakobyan, Sona Rubenyan, Sevak Amroyan, and Gor Sujyan.
