KHACHATUR ABOVYAN ARMENIAN STATE PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITY

The Aghavnadzor-based educational-sport base of the Armenian State Pedagogical University (ASPU) hosted the annual “Best Student” Awards.

First, every Faculty of the ASPU selected its best student, after which the students of 10 Faculties competed with each other. ASPU Rector Srbuhi Gevorgyan, Vice-Rector for HR Management and International Cooperation Marianna Harutyunyan and Head of the Department for Education Management and Reforms Samvel Asatryan attended the 2023 ASPU “Best Student” Awards.

ASPU Rector Srbuhi Gevorgyan attached importance to and highly appreciated the community activism of students, their involvement in academic activities and their academic progress. “I wish more professional development, results that will be in line with the mission of the ASPU, career aspirations, the developments and notions, and by which you will fulfill your expectations and those of the ASPU,” the Rector said in her speech.

After her welcoming remarks, Srbuhi Gevorgyan granted certificates and gifts to the 10 best students, after which the name of the 2023 ASPU “Best Student” was announced.

This year, third-year student of the Division for Preschool Pedagogy and Methodology of the Faculty of Preschool Education Arus Ayvazyan was recognized as the “Best Student”.

In his remarks, President of the Student Council Paruyr Galstyan stated the following: “The Student Council has been organizing the ASPU “Best Student” competition-awards since 2010. The aim of the competition is to encourage students and motivate them to study hard and be involved in academic activities and volunteerism.”

The best students of 10 Faculties will spend three unforgettable days in Georgia this year as well.
