ASPU delegates pay a working visit to Keele University

Since 2018, the Chair of Mathematics and its Teaching Methods of ASPU has been cooperating with the University of Keele, one of the best educational institutions in Great Britain, within the framework of an Erasmus+ project.

From June 13 to 24, Professor Lusine Ghulghazaryan, Head of the Chair of Mathematics and its Teaching Methods, and Assistant Professor Gurgen Asatryan, Candidate of Physical and Mathematics Sciences, were again at Keele University for a two-week working visit within the framework of an exchange programme..

During the visit, the ASPU representatives had a number of meetings and seminars with the teaching staff and postgraduate students of the university.

The parties discussed the programme modules and courses necessary for gaining qualified teacher status (QTS) at the University of Keele, as well as organization of doctoral education

They also discussed the possibility of publishing new joint research works and articles and reached an agreement to continue scientific research and cooperation in the education sphere.

Let us add that Sabina Gasparyan, a PhD student of the Faculty of Mathematics, Physics and Informatics, also visited the University of Keele this year for one semester to do research within the framework of an exchange programme.
