KHACHATUR ABOVYAN ARMENIAN STATE PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITY

The ceremony of granting graduation certificates has begun at the Armenian State Pedagogical University (ASPU). Today, diplomas were solemnly granted to the graduates of the Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree Programs of the Faculty of Art Education, the Faculty of Culture, as well as the “Education Management” specialization.

Among those attending the event were the University’s administration and professors, as well students and parents.

On behalf of the staff of the ASPU, Rector Srbuhi Gevorgyan congratulated the graduates on their graduation and highly appreciated the activities of the Faculties’ administrations and professors; in this whole period, they shared the emotions and achievements of the students, and, in some cases, their failures. They also actively participated in the establishment of professional handwriting studies.

The Rector remembered great artist-pedagogues, who have made tremendous contributions to the not only the history of the Armenian State Pedagogical University, but also the history of culture in Armenia, and the current graduates are the ones who will continue being in touch with the vocational education sector and the values.

Srbuhi Gevorgyan noted that even today, the talented and well-established specialists of various sectors are the ones who observe the commandments, values, as well as components of the reflection of art, shaping and development of aesthetic taste that they left behind. The Rector voiced hope that the students will be able to engage in dialogue with the coming generations and become the breath of their time.

The heads of the institutions also congratulated the graduates and wished them success. Dean of the Faculty of Art Education Ara Hakobyan says the day is memorable and is certain that the students, who received an education in an environment of arts and with talented people devoted to their profession, will become the worthy followers of the University with century-old traditions and successful, remarkable specialists in their sector.
Today also marked the graduation of the 51st generation of students of the Faculty of Culture, who are armed with professional knowledge. Dean Gevorg Tadevosyan is certain that, as in the past years, the students who graduated from the University today will become leading specialists and will maintain the high reputation of the University.

On the occasion of the solemn day, Head of the Chair of Economics and Management Rita Gevorgyan also congratulated the graduates and wished them great success in their profession.

The graduates consider their college years as the most beautiful period in life, full of obstacles and surprises that their lecturers also helped them overcome through their dedication and the job that they love to do.
