“Comics is an accepted genre in the world, but it is not well developed in our country, although the number of people interested in comics and animation is growing day by day,” comic artist Shamiram Khachatryan said during a meeting with ASPU lecturers and students. She added that many of them are technically well prepared; they have already studied on different platforms and countries.
The comic artist, who studied in the comic capital - town of Angoulême in southwestern France, considers Armenia to be one of the pioneers of comics in Armenia.
Within the framework of a unique master class held at the Faculty of Art Education, the guest presented the comics issue and the directions of comic artists.
Also, Shamiram Khachatryan’s batch of comics was exhibited which was followed by an interested discussion and dialogue.
