KHACHATUR ABOVYAN ARMENIAN STATE PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITY

It is with deep sadness that we inform you of the death of Arusyak Aristakesyan, a lecture at the Chair of Camerawork, Artistic Photography and Socio-cultural Activities of Armenian State Pedagogical University (ASPU).

In 1989, she graduated from Armenian State Pedagogical Institute named after Kh. Abovyan (Department of Culture) and in 1990, from the Moscow State Institute of Cinematography.

Arusyak Aristakesyan worked at AR TV as a director. Since 1997 he worked at ASPU as a lecturer at the Chair of Camerawork, Artistic Photography and Socio-cultural Activities. He participated in the shooting of a number of films.

Arusyak Aristakesyan taught photography composition and film composition to future cameramen and photographers, sharing her extensive experience and knowledge in the field.

The ASPU leadership and lecturers express their deepest condolences to Arusyak Aristakesyan’s family for her untimely death. The memory of the meritorious educator will always be in the hearts of her colleagues and students.

The farewell service for Arusyak Aristakesyan will be held at “San Lazaro” funeral hall. The funeral will be held at 2p.m. June 24.
