Knarik Abrahamyan, Associate Professor of the Chair of New and Modern Armenian Literature and its Teaching Methods after Vache Partizuni at Armenian State Pedagogical University (ASPU), a research fellow of the “Spyurk” (Diaspora) Scientific-Educational Center of ASPU, has been awarded a “Fridtjof Nansen” commemorative gold medal.
The medal named after the great philanthropist, Norwegian humanitarian, explorer, diplomat and scientist and winner of the Nobel Peace Prize, was given by Felix Bakhchinyan, Founding President of the Fritjof Nansen Foundation of Armenia, a writer and translator.
The ceremony was attended by the head of the Faculty and lecturers.
“I feel twice obligated to be guided by Nansen's lessons of humanity and justice," Knarik Abrahamyan said in her speech.
