The Professor of the Pedagogical University, Chair of Mathematics and its Teaching Methods, Doctor of Physical –Mathematical Sciences Lucinei Ghulghazaryan made a four-day trip to Great Britain, to visit the Keele University.
Within the scope of the Erasmus+ credit mobility teaching programme the Professor had meetings with the Professors of the Mathematics Research Centre of the Keele University.
Among the topics discussed during the meeting were the educational exchange programmes, content of courses in teaching mathematics at the postgraduate degree, its methods and assessment, development of research cooperation, various other questions relating to students exchange programmes.
During the visit, Lucinei Ghulghazaryan delivered a series of lectures for PhD students, where he spoke about the topic of applied mathematics, particularly the application of asymptotic method in the study of tensile –deformation conditions of lithospheric plates, and forecast of earthquakes, as well as provided individual consultations for the students.
