KHACHATUR ABOVYAN ARMENIAN STATE PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITY

On December 12, ASPU hosted Olga Machekhina, Professor of Moscow City Pedagogical University.

The Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences conducted a seminar on "Literary Media Programming as the Newest Tool of Cultural Coding for students and professors of the Chair of Foreign Literature and the Chair of Russian Language and its Teaching Methods.

The attendees had the opportunity to get acquainted with the certified technologies of literary media programming, cultural coding, to compare educational technology tools  with universal values.

Let us add that Olga Machekhina is one of the organizers of the famous "Land of Reading" web project.

"The topic [of the seminar] was a novelty. It was interesting for both university professors and school teachers in terms of conducting innovative lessons. The seminar was followed by a roundtable discussion, dialogue and debate. Lecturers had the opportunity to share their experience. We will certainly apply the innovations acquired during the meeting during lessons as well," Naira Dalyan, Head of the Chair of Russian Language and its Teaching Methods, said in a conversation with old.aspu.am.

The latter says the seminar was effective for another reason as well: the Russian professor presented not only the organization of media projects, but also its connection with culture, which is important in the process of teaching a foreign language.
