KHACHATUR ABOVYAN ARMENIAN STATE PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITY

A few days ago, the North-Caucasus Federal University of the Russian Federation hosted an international forum and roundtable discussion under the title “Cross-Cultural Dialogue as a Foundation for Peace in the Caucasus”.

Among the participants of the two-day event were Head of the Chair of World History and its Teaching Methods at the Armenian State Pedagogical University (ASPU), Professor Khachatur Stepanyan; Master’s Degree student of the History Department Khachik Khamisyan, as well as fourth-year students Anzhelika Petrosyan and Syuzanna Manukyan. The international forum also gathered representatives from the Institute of History at the National Academy of Sciences of Armenia and Yerevan State University.

During the event, Professor Khachatur Stepanyan participated in the roundtable under the title “Cross-Cultural Dialogue as a Foundation for Peace in the Caucasus”, while the students participated in the youth forum. They also listened to lectures and played intellectual games.

The event’s organizers highly appreciated the active participation of the representatives from the Armenian State Pedagogical University. The representatives of the University attached importance to their participation in the international event, adding that this will foster the strengthening of inter-university cooperation and the establishment of new ties.
