KHACHATUR ABOVYAN ARMENIAN STATE PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITY

On January 27, the Student Council of Armenian State Pedagogical University (ASPU) elected a chairman. Students and post-graduate students from various faculties of the University were present in the election of the SC Chairman.

According to the Electoral Commission, 47 of the 56 persons who were to participate in the election were present in the process. First, they were introduced to the electoral process. Later, the candidates of the SC Chairman were nominated.

In the long run, the participants voted unanimously for Nersik Margaryan who was re-elected to the post of the ASPU SC Chairman for a second time. He presented the results of the four-year activity of the young structure. “The Student Council has maintained its stable position, registered a number of achievements and started close cooperation with other important institutions. Protection of the rights and interests of students has always been a priority for us.

Our joint and harmonious work will enable us to have even greater achievements,” the newly appointed Chairman said.
