KHACHATUR ABOVYAN ARMENIAN STATE PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITY

Elena Grigoryan, a second-year MA student of the Faculty of Art Education majoring in Music Education, recently participated in a conference dedicated to the 120th anniversary of [the great Armenian composer] Aram Khachaturian.

The event organized jointly by the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Republic of Armenia, Yerevan State Conservatory (YSC) after Komitas and Student Scientific and Creative Society was attended by representatives of Armenian HEIs and music colleges.

Elena Grigoryan presented a report entitled "The Concept of "Musical Character" by the Example of Yuri Gevorgyan's "Children's Album"" (scientific supervisor: Associate Professor Margaritta Baghdasaryan).

The report aroused great interest among the attendees and was followed by a Q&A session.

Elena received a letter of appreciation from Tsovinar Movsisyan, Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs at YSC.
