Future psychologists of Armenian State Pedagogical University also participated in the events organized on the occasion of International Women’s Day which is observed each year on March 8.

On the eve of the holiday, 5th-year students of the University taking distance learning courses in the Faculty of Education Psychology and Sociology organized a festive event to congratulate one another and the teaching staff on the holiday, wishing good health, happiness and endless smiles to one another.

With the help of poems, songs, dances and small performances, the students once again stressed the role of women in society and state, emphasizing their importance in child raising and parenting, prevention of emigration and support for soldiers.

The idea of organizing the event belongs to Susanna Minasyan, a student of the same Faculty. Talking to old.aspu.am, she said the very fact that everyone connected around the idea proved once again that 'anything is possible when women get together.'

“Distance learning system does not give students frequent opportunities to organize such events but where there is desire it is possible to reveal the personality, gifts and abilities of each future educator,” Susanna Minasyan said, once again congratulating the attendees on the occasion of International Women's Day on behalf of her fellow students.

The attendees were also congratulated by ASPU Vice-Rector Srbuhi Gevorgyan and Ruzanna Petrosyan, Dean of the Faculty of Faculty of Education Psychology and Sociology, who wished them love, happiness and smiles.
