The autumn conference of the Student Scientific and Creative Society, dedicated to the 145th birthday of the famous Armenian conductor and pedagogue Konstantin Sarajev was held at the Komitas State Conservatory in Yerevan.
Representatives of art universities and music colleges of Armenia, as well as ASPU, participated in the event.
During the conference, Shushanna Grigoryan, a 2nd-year MA student of the Faculty of Art Education, presented a report on “Singing as a Means of Developing Children's Sense of Rhythm” (Supervisor: Associate Professor Anna Harutyunyan). Lala Simonyan, another MA student of ASPU, presented ta report on “Musical-educational Significance of Sofa Aznauryan’s Opera “Adventures of Cheekarellee" for Children” (Supervisor: Associate Professor Margarita Baghdasaryan)
The reports of the ASPU students aroused great interest among the attendees who particularly hailed their relevance and importance.
