ASPU students participate in Summer School in Hungary

A group of students from Armenian State Pedagogical University recently visited the Pázmány Péter Catholic University (PPCU) of Hungary. The visit was organized within the framework of the Summer School 2017 project.

During the two-week visit to Budapest, the ASPU representatives got acquainted with the programme participants from Canada, Thailand, Japan, France, the Czech Republic and Germany and tried to learn Hungarian.

They also got familiarized with the history of the country and PPCU, cultural heritage, art and architecture, famous Hungarian writers, actors and artists. The guests also visited the National Museum, PPCU’s campus in Piliscsaba, Buda Castle, Hospital in the Rock Museum, Open-air Museum of Ethnography in the town of Szentendre, the Royal Palace of Gödöllő, etc.

“Budapest is a beautiful city with its museums, cultural monuments, places of interest and architecture. The visit was well organized. In 15 days, we were able to travel, learn new things, develop our language skills and acquire new friends which can become a basis for new intercultural cooperation,” ASPU student Ani Aghajanyan said in conversation with old.aspu.am.

The students say the programme was a unique opportunity to discover one of the best countries in Europe, get acquainted with its educational system and lead an active student life.
