Students of Armenian State Pedagogical University again participated in the Summer School programme in Saint Petersburg.
During the visit, the ASPU delegates combined pleasure with usefulness by participating in different courses and study tours. The guests were introduced to the history of the city, Russian culture, various branches of art and literature.
With its gorgeous architecture, imperial spirit and rich literature, Saint Petersburg has been and remains a permanent meeting site for centuries-old traditions and modern manifestations.
The ASPU students visited the Peter and Paul Fortress, Hermitage, Saint Isaac's Cathedral, Tsarskoye Selo State Museum Preserve, Summer Garden, the Church of the Savior on Spilled Blood, Dostoevsky Museum and other places of interest.
“Every day we walked and discovered Nevsky Prospekt (the main thoroughfare in Saint Petersburg) which was so loved by Dostoevsky and Gogol,” the students said adding that the Armenian spirit accompanied by national songs and dances prevailed in Saint Petersburg on the days of their visit.
The students say the participation in the Summer School programme in the Russian city enabled them to acquire new friends, get acquainted with Russian culture and added unforgettable impressions to student life.
