KHACHATUR ABOVYAN ARMENIAN STATE PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITY

The girls’ team of Armenian State Pedagogical University (ASPU) recently participated in a shooting championship held within the framework of the 25th Armenian Student Sports Games. The team was composed of students of the Faculty of Art Education - Bella Madunts and Karine Alaverdyan, and Alvard Grigoryan from the Faculty of Primary Education.

Led by coaches Ivan Karapetyan and Vahagn Kharatyan, the team performed excellently coming second in the championship. The teams of Yerevan State University (YSU) and Armenian State Institute of Physical Culture and Sport came 1st and 3rd, respectively.

The ASPU team won medals in the girls' individual competition as well. Alvard Grigoryan took 2nd place with 42 points.

The ASPU students received certificates, medals, cups and symbolic gifts.
