The 26th Student Sports Games organized by the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports (MoESCS) have started in Armenia. Overall, 14 competitions in 11 sports will be held in two rounds.
Chess, armwrestling, and shooting championships have already been held as part of the spring round of the Student Sports Games.
About 80 students from ten universities of the country participated in the shooting competition, including the women’s team of Armenian State Pedagogical University (ASPU) led by coaches Ivan Karapetyan and Vahagn Kharatyan.
After scoring 119 points, the ASPU team composed of Alvard Grigoryan (Faculty of Primary Education), Tatevik Hakhverdyan (Faculty of Culture), and Bella Madunts (Faculty of Art Education), came 2nd in a team competition.
The team won medals, certificates, cups, and symbolic awards.
