KHACHATUR ABOVYAN ARMENIAN STATE PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITY

The Chair of Mathematics and its Teaching Methods at the Armenian State Pedagogical University (ASPU) and the Selmer Center in Secure Communication at the University of Bergen in the Kingdom of Norway have signed a Memorandum of Cooperation.

From September 30 to October 4, Head of the ASPU Chair of Mathematics and its Teaching Methods, Professor Lusine Ghulghazaryan was on a visit to the University of Bergen in the Kingdom of Norway at the invitation of Head of the Selmer Center in Secure Communication, Professor Lilya Budaghyan.

Professor Ghulghazaryan attended research seminars and had meetings with the lecturers and PhD students of the Selmer Center in Secure Communication.

During the meetings, Professor Lilya Budaghyan and Professor Lusine Ghulghazaryan predetermined to organize scientific-pedagogical and research activities, as well as consultations for PhD students and PhD applicants.

During a conversation with old.aspu.am, Lusine Ghulghazaryan voiced hope that the aforementioned activities will be aimed at introducing the students, Master's students, PhD students and PhD applicants of the Armenian State Pedagogical University to the key issues related to applied mathematics and algebra, spark interest in applied studies and research, engage the more capable and promising students in research, as well as strengthen international ties of the lecturers and professors of both universities.
