KHACHATUR ABOVYAN ARMENIAN STATE PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITY

The team of Armenian State Pedagogical University won the interuniversity volleyball (women) tournament organized by the RA Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs from November 25 to 29.

Teams from seven Armenian universities participated in the competitions. The teams were divided into two subgroups. The ASPU team won its rivals from the Armenian National Agrarian University and the National Polytechnic University of Armenia that were included in the same subgroup.

In the semifinals, the team won its rival from the Armenian State University of Economics and advanced to the final round. The ASPU team won the tournament after beating the team of Yerevan Brusov State University of Languages and Social Sciences by a score of 2–0.
