It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of Alvard Kirakosyan, Associate Professor at the Chair Biology, Chemistry and their Teaching Methods, Candidate of Sciences (in Biology). Alvard Kirakosyan was 57 years old.
Since 2001, Alvard Kirakosyan worked at the Chair of Biology and its Teaching Methods.
Alvard Kirakosyan was included in a group that was responsible for compiling and analyzing biology textbooks for schools. She participated in trainings of biology teachers and was an expert in issuing classification for biology teachers. Alvard Kirakosyan enjoyed the love and respect of students and colleagues.
The ASPU leadership and lecturers express their deepest condolences to Alvard Kirakosyan’s family for her untimely death. The memory of the meritorious educator will always be in the hearts of his colleagues and students.
The farewell service for the Associate Professor will be held in Talin church at 8 p.m., October 12.
