Autumn exhibition opens at ASPU

An exhibition entitled “Autumn” opened at the Pedagogical University on November 8 within the framework of the university-school cooperation. The exhibition organized jointly by students and pupils was dedicated to the 95th anniversary of the University.

Pupils from 1st to 12th forms put on display over 100 works with watercolors and gouache. Talking to old.aspu.am, the pupils did not hide their enthusiasm and said they were glad to be hosted by the University and have their works exhibited in the educational institution. They expressed hope that in the future they would be given more opportunities to exhibit their new works.

Zhanna Khachatryan, Associate Professor at the Chair of Preschool Education and Methodology and the initiator of the event, says the exhibition of pupils’ works at the University increases interest in the University while the joint initiative with the students was twice inspiring.

Anahit Khosrovyan, Principal of N20 School after John Kirakosian, assured everyone that such exhibitions awaken love for painting among children and shape aesthetic taste.

“Although present-day pupils prefer the IT sphere, our aim is to develop their creative skills and give new breath to their aspirations,” she added.
