KHACHATUR ABOVYAN ARMENIAN STATE PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITY

On the occasion of International Women's Day, Speaker of the Armenian National Assembly Galust Sahakyan has awarded a number of lecturers and staff members of Armenian State Pedagogical University after Khachatur Abovyan for their significant contribution to the sphere of education and science.

ASPU representatives Aelita Dolukhanyan, Ruzan Tadevosyan, Aida Topuzyan, Laura Asatryan, Srbuhi Gevorgyan, Mariam Ispiryan, Kima Karakhanyan and Alvard Grigoryan were awarded with NA diploma.

Highly assessing the major contribution of the lecturers, who have educated numerous generations, the speaker of the Armenian parliament congratulated them [on the holiday], wishing them robust health and productive activity in science and education.

In his speech, Galust Sahakyan said that ‘a powerful state begins from school.’ He also emphasized teachers’ role in educating patriotic and literate generations.
