Belgium presented in 300 photos

History, culture, attractions, museums and daily routine in Belgium… Everything is beautifully presented in 300 photographs taken by Zaven Sargsyan, Director of Sergej Parajanov Museum, who is a lecturer at Armenian State Pedagogical University.

On February 17, the Chair of Camerawork, Artistic Photography and Socio-Cultural Activities initiated a meeting with the photographer, University students and lecturers.

Through the photos, Mr Sargsyan showed the guests the Belgium he had seen and perceived with its entire charm.

In the format of a master class, the photographer presented the history of each photo, the problems encountered in the process of work, spoke about success secrets of a professional photographer and povided tips and techniques for taking good photos. With the help of professional photographs, the attendees were introduced to Belgium and formed a general opinion about the country and its culture.

The guests also addressed their questions to Zaven Sargsyan.

“The students were very excited. Exhibitions of this type are very important as they familiarize students with cultural specificities of different countries, develop their taste and help them apply their professional skills, secrets and nuances in practice,” Ruben Yerznkyan, Head of the Chair of Camerawork, Artistic Photography and Socio-Cultural Activities, said in conversation with old.aspu.am.
