KHACHATUR ABOVYAN ARMENIAN STATE PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITY

On July 25, Rector of Armenian State Pedagogical University, Ruben Mirzakhanyan, handed over diplomas to the 22 best graduates of the 2015/16 academic year and a certificate to the best pupil of the ASPU High School (College).

Mr. Mirzakhanyan congratulated the academic staff and students, noting that the University had 2700 graduates in 2016 the best of whom were standing beside him, which was binding for both sides.

Ruben Mirzakhanyan stressed that they had already reached a preliminary agreement with the Deans in order to provide the best graduates with jobs by their profession. I wish you all the best, be healthy and successful in all spheres of life. I am convinced that we will have great success thanks to our joint efforts,” the Rector added.

Vanuhi Baghramyan, a student of the Faculty of Philology, thanked the ASPU Rector and teaching staff of the University on behalf of the graduates, stressing that school is like a temple and the closer you get to its doors, the deeper you understand the words of Petrosyan that emphasize the importance and responsibility of one’s profession. “It is a great honour for us to be here today, to wear these hats and gowns. The diplomas are the result of the work of lecturers who have worked with us diligently and compassionately over these years. They say words of gratitude are identical but, in fact, they are never repeated. We express our gratitude to all those who helped us pass this path and stand here today. We hope that we shall justify the expectations of our new, but most complicated mission.”

The students of the ten Faculties of the University will receive their diplomas on July 16.
