KHACHATUR ABOVYAN ARMENIAN STATE PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITY

Today, the Rector of the Pedagogical University Rouben Mirzakhanyan awarded participation certificates to 22 lecturers of the Faculty of Mathematics, Physics and Informatics Chair of Mathematics and its Teaching Methods, as well as Faculty of Primary Education, Elementary Mathematics Teaching Methods.

Starting from 24 October till 4 October, they participated in the “Professional Training Session on Mathematics and Thematic Context” organized by the ASPU.

The Rector congratulated the participants of the training looking forward for that the knowledge acquired therein would be further contributed also in the educational process.

Moreover, the Head of the University highlighted the observation and suggestions by those present regarding the training course, ensuring that they would be taken into account, and in order to ensure a higher index of effectiveness the sessions would be conducted by invited lecturers.

Further on, during the meeting Rouben Mirzakhanyan discussed the upcoming changes of the University, particularly referring to the establishment of electronic education platform, its effectiveness, cooperation with leading Universities, and exchange programmes.

To conclude, the Rector highlighted that the lecturers, who demonstrate higher results in the course of that important learning processes for the University, would receive additional encouragements.
