Charity Visits of Future Pedagogues

A few days ago the students of the Faculty of Primary Education organized voluntary visits to special schools within the scope of volunteering activities.

Together with the Dean Heghinei Khachatryan and the lecturer of the Chair of Preschool Pedagogy and Methodologies Irina Ponomarenko the students first visited the Nubarashen School N11 for children with mental disorder, where they gave present to the kids, and necessary clothes and accessories to the parents.

The first year students made a performance of Hovhannes Tumanyan’s fairy tale “The End of Evil” at the school which was followed by holiday songs and dances passing the season’s spirit and mood to the children.

The next stop of the volunteers was at inclusive school N79 after Jambazyan in Shengavit administrative district, where the pupils welcomed them by staging a performance. At that school too, the meeting ended with mutual New Year’s congratulations, songs and dances.

The volunteering visit tour organized by the future pedagogues was concluded in the 2nd block of Nor Norq administrative district where they paid visits to vulnerable families. The food, clothes, toys and stationery goods given to those families by the students’ initiative were indeed true presents for them.

According to the volunteers of the primary education faculty, the volunteering visits will be of continuous nature, and all those interested are welcome to join.
