KHACHATUR ABOVYAN ARMENIAN STATE PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITY

Yang Meihua, Director of the Confucius Institute in Armenia on behalf of the Chinese side, Zhu Ruiping, Director of the Chinese Language and Culture College of Beijing Normal University and Chan Sieuzi, a representative of the same institution, were hosted by the Faculty of Culture and Faculty of Art Education on the sidelines of a two-day working visit to ASPU.

The foreign guests got acquainted with the activity of the Faculty of Art Education, professions and academic disciplines. After a meeting with the professors, the guests participated in painting, sculpture, art history and design classes and got acquainted with the teaching methods of Armenian specialists.

Accompanied by ASPU representatives, the Chinese delegates also visited the Faculty of Culture where accompanied by Professor Karen Gevorgyan, Head of Choreography Chair, they participated in the training of future dance instructors, watched on screen a Chinese national dance with the participation of students.

The Chinese guests were also welcomed by the brass and variety orchestra of the Faculty. Yang Meihua, Zhu Ruiping and Chan Sieuzi also visited the studio named after Armen Hovhannisyan, watched the videos made by future TV journalists and got acquainted with the details of their practical activity.

During their meetings with ASPU professors, the Chinese guests discussed issues of further cooperation.
