A collection of student research papers entitled "Psychological Research N(1)" has been published. The collection includes the materials of the scientific conferences organized annually by the Chair of Psychology named after Academician Mkrtich Mazmanyan.
The collection presents the research works carried out by BA and MA students specializing in Psychology which are dedicated to the current issues in the field.
Ruzanna Petrosyan, Dean of the Faculty of Educational Psychology and Sociology, stressed the importance of the unprecedented collection, expressing hope that more collections will be published in the future, becoming an important step [for students] on the way to science.
The dean of the faculty says the University is a laboratory of science. She adds that the works included in the collection will help the authors become an important part of that process and continue the scientific activity of their predecessors in the future.
Ruzanna Petrosyan expressed her satisfaction with the professors, including the head of the Chair, Levon Sargsyan, who guided and supported the students while carrying out the scientific research,.
The latter considered the peculiarity of the collection to be the research component of the student works, thanked the editorial staff and expressed hope that the Student Scientific Society will be more actively involved in the process.
The scientific supervisors are sure that the collection will solve the problems related to the research component and increase the demand for research. "Students will learn to do research; let them be small, but of high quality," Lecturer Araksya Katunyan said and added that it will lead to a healthy competition.
