Every year, graduate students of various departments of the Faculty of Art Education present a unique initiative.
Students of the Music Education Department organized a concert at the hall of the Faculty of Culture. Ave Maria choir, the ensemble of violinists and the newly formed vocal ensemble, as well as soloists performed during the event. The conductors of the choir were MA students of the same department.
The concert featured famous works by Komitas, Barsegh Kanachyan, Aram Khachaturian, Aram Satyan, Astor Piazzolla and many others.
Head of the Chair of Music Education Sargis Elbakyan compared the yearend concert with the final chord of all years of studies. “The ensembles and best soloists of the department have performed on various stages and in schools but the aim of this concert was to show the musical instruments mastered by future music teachers,” Mr Elbakyan said.
The head of the Chair is happy to see that the graduates of the department continue to record success and achievements in the fields of music and pedagogy.
The works of graduate students of the Fine Arts and Applied Arts departments were also showcased during the event.
