KHACHATUR ABOVYAN ARMENIAN STATE PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITY

Within the framework of cooperation between Armenian State Pedagogical University and the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia, representatives of the N military unit of the RA Defense Ministry visited at ASPU on September 9.

The servicemen participated in a seminar on "The problem of Development of Sergeants’ Institute in the Context of Leadership Theory".

During the meeting, Hakob Tadevosyan, Associate Professor of the Chair of Pedagogy, Advisor to the ASPU Rector, dwelt on various issues of enhancing training effectiveness and performance of sergeants.

He also referred to the peculiarities of usage of teaching technologies, educational tools, methods, and principles in the process of training sergeants and squad commanders for the units of the RA Armed Forces.

Development of leadership component and personal growth was emphasized in the process of training officers of all ranks and high-ranking personnel.

The Candidate of Pedagogical Science [Hakob Tadevosyan] presented to the officers capacity-building tools, techniques and methods that play an important role in the profession of commanders.

The advisor to the ASPU Rector assured the guests that the ASPU leadership is always ready to support the RA Armed Forces in pedagogical, moral and psychological preparation of the military units.

Within the framework of the visit, the officers also visited the ASPU History Museum, got acquainted with the history of the University and achievements in various fields.
