KHACHATUR ABOVYAN ARMENIAN STATE PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITY

Recently, by the initiative of the Faculty of Philology a video –conference was arranged with the well- known Doctor-Professors Yelitsa Stoyanovich and Budimir Aleksich, from Chernogoria.

The latters gave certain information to the ASPU lecturers and future philologists about Serbian language, and at the end of the meeting they promised to set continuous cooperation.

A few days ago, according to the already set tradition, the second “meeting” took place. The RA NAS Associate Member, Professor Aelita Dolukhanyan made a video-stream presentation for the Serbian auditorium, where she report about the ancient Armenian language, literature and culture, which was also accompanied by an interesting collage.

Among those present at the meeting were the APSU lecturers and students of various years of the Philological Faculty, Those present were greeted by the Rector of the Saint Peter Tsetinski Institution of the Tsetinye town of Chernogoria Mr. Gaiko Petrovich. Besides, among those participating at the meeting was the Serbian student Predrag Miyanovich who lived in Armenia and studied Armenian language, and who also ensured the bilingual translation of the meeting. At the end of the meeting the Serbian students performed a spiritual song.
