During the course on “Combining Business Models with Editorial Independence”, she talked about non-profit media, presented to the 2nd-4th-year students of the Department of TV Journalism the history, need and goals of non-commercial media and provided information about non-profit media which are developing in Armenia and other countries and are not pursuing commercial goals.
After the interesting and substantive discussion, Lela Vujanic suggested that the students think about topics that interest them, but are not encountered in media or are not talked about a lot. She emphasized the importance of these initiatives and recommended that they take advantage of their years of study and start carrying out publicly beneficial media programs.
