KHACHATUR ABOVYAN ARMENIAN STATE PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITY

Three students of the University of Pardubice (the Czech Republic) did a one-month internship at the Faculty of Special and Inclusive Education at ASPU. During their stay in Armenia, the guest students attended the classes (Inclusive Education, International Classification of Functioning in the Process of Assessing Special Educational Needs (SEN), and Application of Theoretical Foundations of Child Psychology in Special Psychology), and seminars (the seminar held on 9 September, 2019 by speech therapists Mechthild Glunz and Oegan Schmitz on the subject “Peculiarities of Speech Therapy with Comatose Patients”).

The Czech students also visited the Yerevan Special Educational Complex for Children with Hearing Impairments and the Nikoghayos Tigranyan Special School N 14 for Children with Visual Impairments. Later on, together with their Armenian peers they drafted presentations about the University of Pardubice and ASPU which they presented at the Faculty of Special and Inclusive Education.
