KHACHATUR ABOVYAN ARMENIAN STATE PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITY

A few days ago the, staff of the E-learning Management Department including Anush Sargsyan, Inga Stamboltsyan, and the lecturers of the Chair of Pre-School Pedagogy and Methodology and the Chair of Professional Education and Applied Pedagogy Anna Simonyan and Levon Nazaryan participated in a two-day workshop headed “Institutional Research/Planning and Information System Management in Higher Education Sphere for Effective Management of the University and Providing Quality Education”.

Within the scope of ERASMUS+ higher education reform project, team-work discussions were held with the participation of international experts from London and representatives of relevant spheres from other Universities of Armenia.
International experts Chris Chobby and Raymond Smith introduced the details of strategic planning and institutional research in the sphere of higher education.

In a two day conference international practice about the role of management information systems in formation of comprehensive system of universities’ quality assurance, as well as improvement of academic programmes and students’ learning processes were discussed.
