KHACHATUR ABOVYAN ARMENIAN STATE PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITY

Today, during the Rector’s Session, the Rector of the Pedagogical University Rouben Mirzakhanyan presented three students of the University with donations from Hakob and Shamir Avagyans from the Diaspora. 

The latter granted financial donation for the ASPU students to pay for their tuition fees, in the memory of outstanding national and public figure of the Diaspora Nazareth Srmaqesh.

A donation of $1000 USD was split between the fourth-year ASPU student of the Faculty of Foreign Languages, “English Language and Literature” BA course Mariam Tadevosyan ($400 USD), the third-year student of the Faculty of Mathematics, Physics and Informatics, “Physics” BA course Aghasi Mazmanyan ($300 USD), and the fourth-year student of the Faculty of Biology, Chemistry and Geography, course of “Biology” Grigor Vardanyan ($ 300 USD).  The donatees have demonstrated high academic progress throughout the whole process of education.

The students expressed acknowledgements for the grant and mentioned that the financial reward was a valuable support when studying at a tuition paid system. Summing up, they added that such forms of assistance are not only binding but also value and motivate for a better academic progress.
