KHACHATUR ABOVYAN ARMENIAN STATE PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITY

A few days ago the Vice President of the RA National Assembly Eduard Sharmazanov welcomed the students and lecturers of the Pedagogical University’s Faculty of History and Law, Department of Social Sciences.

During the meeting the future social scientists asked Eduard Sharmazanov a number of questions about different fields and issues. The questions mostly related to the effectiveness of the accumulative pension system, Constitutional reforms, the expediency of amendment of the form of government in the country, steps undertaken towards development of the economy, regulation of the NKR issue, and recognition of the Armenian Genocide.

Referring to the adopted position of the Republic of Armenia in regards with its external policy, Eduard Sharmazanov assured that the external policy of our country didn’t need revision.

“Armenian is a CSTO member state, joins the EEC, has dynamic developing ally relations with the Russian Federation, partnership relations with the European Union, the USA, as well as the neighbouring Georgia and Iran.”

According to Eduard Sharmazanov Armenia’s membership to the EEC is justified and our state is against leaving the structure.

Moreover, during the meeting the RA Vice Presidents spoke about the NKR issue and the international recognition of the Armenian Genocide.

“Artsakh is the victory of all Armenians: that victory will be impossible without Armenia-Artsakh-Diaspora tripartite union,” Mr Sharmazanov mentioned and once again highlighted that the pledge of victory of the Armenian nation is their unbending aspiration of dignified living and creating.

And last but not least, Eduard Sharmazanov mentioned that parallel to international recognition of the Armenian Genocide struggle against the denialism is going on, and particularly emphasized the role of the Diaspora in it this aspect.
