Education management professionals receive awards

Awards ceremonies, organized within the framework of events marking the 100th anniversary of ASPU, are continuing.

Rita Gevorgyan, Head of the Chair of Economics and Management, has been awarded the ASPU Centennial commemorative medal for her outstanding contributions to science and pedagogy.
ASPU Rector Srbuhi Gevorgyan handed over certificates of appreciation and honour to a number of professors of the Chair for conscientious and effective performance of their professional duties.

"All-University chairs are also engaged in the educational processes at ASPU. Each of them, within its activity domain, provides qualitative changes in solving a number of problems in higher pedagogical education and general education of the country. Teaching methods, influence technologies, and generations are changing. we are facing new challenges that require new approaches,” Rector Gevorgyan said adding that the educational programmes implemented by the Chair cover fields that are in great demand in the world.

The ASPU rector believes that the Chair will make a certain summary of its achievements, address the existing gaps, based on which the teaching staff will present new approaches in the field of education, ranging from professional educational programmes to subject descriptions.

Rita Gevorgyan, Head of the Chair of Economics and Management, said, in turn, that in the jubilee year, the structure she leads has added the great investments that the University has carried out for years in training pedagogues.

Then she enumerated various activities carried out within the framework of educational programmes, research activities, participation in conferences and mobility programmes, publishment of educational and methodological manuals, cooperation with foreign universities. The head of the Chair says these are only some of the programmes carried out by the Chair within the framework of its main mission. “They were implemented as a result of the joint activity of the teaching staff. These achievements and successes were made possible thanks to the active and effective cooperation with the departments and faculties of the University,” Rita Gevorgyan said. She thanked the University leadership for the awards, assuring everyone that the processes require new developments and continuous efforts.
